The creation of a brochure for a local Saskatchewan company.

Established in 1929, SaskPower is Saskatchewan’s leading energy supplier. They support growth and work to bring the best value possible to their half a million customers by being innovative, efficient and flexible.

When starting this project I had no knowledge about SaskPower but after doing research I felt as though I had a good understanding of who they are. I really enjoyed turning their vision as a company into something that could be easily understood by everyone.

This project was to create a PSA billboard.

The word “addiction” is often used to refer to any behavior that is out of control in some way. Addiction is really quite prevalent in our society in different forms. It could be related to substance use, but it could also be related to certain behaviors, such as gambling, internet gaming, and there are other forms of behaviors that could be addictive that are under study. There is still a lot of stigma and misconception surrounding addiction.

Addiction is an issue that is close to me since I have family members who are/have suffered from it. Stigma is a huge part of why its not talked about which is what I wanted to make clear in my design. It isn’t always black and white, people from every walk of life can experience it.
